Breakfast brings in $1,000 for Thompson Quasqui

     Around 125 people turned out at the Thompson Fire Hall for a breakfast fundraiser held by the Thompson Quasquicentennial Committee on Sunday, Sept. 14. Pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage were served for a free will donation. The Committee raised about $1,000, which will go toward the community’s 125th anniversary celebration in 2017. The Thompson Fire Department made the pancakes for the meal, and local confirmation students also helped with the fundraiser.
