Boehm is Winnebago County Fair Queen

     Sixteen-year-old Morgan Boehm, center, is the 2017 Winnebago County Fair Queen, as she took the crown during last Thursday’s coronation ceremony. Boehm, the daughter of Jerry and Kendi Boehm of Buffalo Center, beat out seven other contestants for the honor. Sarah Nordskog of Forest City, right, was this year’s Runner Up, while Naddie Myer of Buffalo Center, left, was named Miss Congeniality. Boehm presided over various shows and activities throughout the four-day fair and will represent Winnebago County at the Iowa State Fair, which begins on August 10.
