Bodzioch joins Thompson City Council

Alexis Bodzioch is the newest member of the Thompson City Council, as she took her oath of office during the Council’s monthly meeting last Monday, Nov. 18. The Council voted to appoint Bodzioch to fill a vacant seat, following the departure of Wayne Landheer in September. Bodzioch will serve the remaining two years on Landheer’s term.

Bodzioch moved to Thompson earlier this year from the Chicago area, as she joined Winn-Worth Betco in May as the organization’s Marketing Director. After looking at homes in the area, she and her fiancé, Devin Richter, decided on a nice little house in Thompson, where they live with their dog.

Bodzioch says she wants to serve on the Council so she can learn more about the local communities. She hopes to gain a better understanding of what towns like Thompson are going through, which will help her in marketing Winnebago and Worth Counties at Winn-Worth Betco.
