Bison suffer first district loss at Northwood

     The Northwood-Kensett Vikings dominated the North Iowa Bison last Friday night, Sept. 19, on the Vikings’ home turf in Northwood. The Bison only made it into the end zone one time, as the Viking scored in all four quarters to take the district match, 43-6.

     N-K led off the scoring in the middle of the first quarter with a three-yard touchdown run by Coleby Bratrud. The point after run was good by Mason Olson. The Bison got on the board early in the second quarter on a 30 yard touchdown pass from Spencer Armstrong to Trevor Aukes. The point after run failed.
