Bison bounce back with 41-14 win at Rockford

The North Iowa Bison improved their District football record to 2-2 last Friday night, Oct. 3, with a 41-14 win over Rockford. The Bison shut out the Warriors in the first half, as they as they picked up the win during Rockford’s Homecoming on a chilly night.

After giving up a fumble on their opening drive, the Bison regained their composure to control the first two quarters of the game. Trevor Aukes ran in the first touchdown midway through the first quarter on a one-yard run. The point after was no good.  North Iowa got the ball back on Rockford’s 10-yard line, after the Warriors’ kicker touched the ground while attempting a punt. Austin Paden ran in a touchdown on the next play, and the PAT run was good by Aukes.
