Bengtson medals at state track

     North Iowa senior Mackenzie Bengtson scored for her team at the Iowa High School State Track & Field meet in Des Moines May 25, as she medaled with an eighth place throw of 115’1”. She competed in the discus on Friday along with teammate Brenna Paulson, who took ninth place with a throw of 114’3”. This was the second year in a row that both girls competed at State Track & Field.
