Baseball season put on hold

The North Iowa High School baseball season is on hold until at least Monday, June 29, as some players have reported symptoms that require they be tested for COVID-19. The school decided to suspend the games that were scheduled for Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26, while the athletes get tested and await their results.

Superintendent Joe Erickson says hope to have more information and make a decision about Monday’s scheduled game with Bishop Garrigan by 2 p.m. that day.

The North Iowa softball team plans to go ahead with their varsity and JV games at Osage on Friday.
