Barbara Jean (Schaefer) Ostrander, age 89, of Buffalo Center, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Hancock County Health Systems in Britt. An informal gathering honoring Barbara Jean Ostrander was held at The Barn (Gruis Recreation Area) in Buffalo Center on Saturday, October 26, at 3 p.m. with a brief “Celebration of Life Service” at 4 p.m. led by Pastor Nathaniel Hedin-Schmidt, followed by a time sharing memories with the family during lunch and fellowship.
