“Top of Iowa Conference” chosen as super conference title

     The votes are in, and the North Iowa Conference and Corn Bowl Conference will combine in 2015 as the “Top of Iowa Conference”.

     The name came out on top in a vote by students from the 18 schools involved in the merger, and the superintendents from those schools approved the name for the new super conference beginning in the fall of the 2015-16 school year.

     Districts in the 2015-16 merger include: Belmond-Klemme, Bishop Garrigan, Central Springs, Eagle Grove, Forest City, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Lake Mills, Newman Catholic, Nashua-Plainfield, North Butler, North Iowa, Northwood-Kensett, North Union, Osage, Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock, St. Ansgar, West Fork and West Hancock.
