“School of Rock” coming to North Iowa

     North Iowa High School will present “School of Rock” for its annual spring musical production, coming up next Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18.

     The musical, which is based on the film of the same name, tells the story of wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn, who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. When he discovers his students’ musical talents, he enlists them to form a rock group and conquer the Battle of the Bands.

     Members of the cast include Sam Hassebroek as Dewey Finn (pictured at right) and Natalie Dirksen as school principal Rosalie Mullins. Look for a full cast list in this week's Tribune.
