The Buffalo Center Ambulance faces an EMT shortage that’s about to get worse once the new school year begins. About 50 swimmers joined Buffalo Center Police Chief Matt Holmquist for a “Swim with a Cop” event at the Buffalo Center Swimming Pool last Tuesday, July 23. Holmquist spent an hour playing with the kids, including taking turns jumping off the diving board. “Swim with a Cop” has become an annual event at the pool.
